"Ironwork monstrosity of spikes and jagged edges and grotesquely twisted metal. It was [...] a hellishly uncomfortable chair [...] A king should never sit easy, Aegon the Conqueror had said, when he commanded his armorers to forge a great seat from the swords laid down by his enemies."
Inspired by the iconic Iron Throne, the eggs in this collection have swords embedded on their surface.
The Heirs
Characteristics:
The eggs, about twelve centimetres high, are made of scales that I cut out and assembled one by one by hand. They also feature some swords that I created the same way. After being textured, they were carefully painted to create a metallic effect. They are mainly silver in colour, but may also have a slight gold or copper sheen in places.
They are supplied with a small cylindrical wooden base.
No-contractual pictures:
The colours and contrasts of this creation may slightly differ according to your screen, the brightness at the time of the shooting or the reality of the tints.
